PC® CARBOCOMP PLUS

PC® CARBOCOMP PLUS are multi-directional carbon fiber laminates used to increase the bending strength of structural elements: the fibers are situated in the longitudinal direction with additional fibers at (+ 45°, - 45°) which makes it possible to anchor the laminates with bolts into the structure.

Available widths: 50, 60, 80, 100, 120 mm

Fiber content: 65 volume %

Effective thickness: 1.2 mm

Tensile strength average value: 2400 MPa

Tensile strength minimum value: >2200 MPa

Modulus of elasticity average value: 165 GPa

Modulus of elasticity minimum value: > 160 GPA

Minimum elongation: 1.33 %

Density: 1.6 g/cm3



Applications

Reinforcing of beams, floors, walls and columns in concrete, wood and steel. Strengthening of bridges and buildings, for example in the following cases:
  •     Repair of the original bearing capacity, like after a fire or corrosion of the rebars.
  •     Local strengthening of construction elements, when making holes through floor plates or walls.
  •     To increase the load bearing capacity.
  •     To repair errors during construction.
